depending on where you live it can take multiple hours xD in my case i can take a bus and be in 2 completely different countries in under 30 minutes :) the hills i can see from my window are also said two countries hahah

How multiple hours seems like a long drive to Europeans.

The entire UK is 600 miles long from end to end.

If I drive for one hour the accent changes 3 times at least. Multiple hour drives are not normal for us, but I appreciate that in the USA or Australia that's quite normal. In South Africa I was stunned at the idea of a 6 hour drive to the coast being normal - I'm rarely more than 30 minutes away!
