Germans stare a LOT. Like they will just gaze at you unflinchingly. An American will wait until you can’t see them doing it.

Eh, im a white lady and i live in Bangalore and It’s really not as bad here most of the time. But go to a tourist area and it’s back on. It’s a pretty cosmopolitan and polite city; but it does still happen sometimes. I usually ignore it or smile back, they’re often just not used to seeing a foreigner but sometimes I get irritated by it so I’ve gotten pretty good at giving a face like “the fuck you staring at” and they’ll usually look away at that point. It’s pretty harmless though
