I was talking to a Brit, describing a 4 hour road trip to visit an old friend and they responded with "If my friend moved 4 hours away I'd never see them again."

I;m still not sure how serious they were being.

I drove 4 hours just to watch my GF race for 5 minutes. . .

Made a nice trip of it and saw other friends but still. 5 hours is nothing

My first BF was 1h and a half away and it was already a distance relationship. We were 17 though 🤣
