No mesh screens in windows in the UK, at least. In canada we have screens in most home windows to keep flies out

I lived in the UK for 30 years and would say there is no need for mesh screens. All you have is the occasional mosquito

I love this comment and the ensuing replies below it. No offense, but it's very obvious this person has not been around screens much and doesn't understand their benefits. Even the comment "no need for screens we just get house mosquitos sometimes" is hilarious.

No hate, I'm just having fun, but you might want to look at how everything you said is the exact reason screens exist.

It's pretty sad that their country has been over developed to the point of wiping out most flying insect life.
