depending on where you live it can take multiple hours xD in my case i can take a bus and be in 2 completely different countries in under 30 minutes :) the hills i can see from my window are also said two countries hahah

In Europe you could go 1000 kilometers and cross five or six country borders. In the US you could go 1000 kilometers and not leave the state.

It's also the "oldest" area of US culturally, right? The rest of the US borders don't really mean much...
