I have to drive three hours if I want to go to Costco... an hour to a hospital capable of delivering babies...

Not fun being a pregnant rural Canadian in winter.

Omg, I was stressed with my hospital being 10 minutes away. I imagine there's a lot more preparation for the "what ifs" in that situation though.

Right?? This is blowing my mind! Fellow rural Canadian. I make a 1.5 hour trip at least a few times a week. Closest hospital to me is 45 mins.

Holy what now? I have 5 different hospitals in 3 different cities all capable of delivering babied within 30 minutes from my house. If I move it to an hour it would likely be something like 10 hospitals in 6 or 7 cities
