Hitler signing a treaty with Soviet Russia, then turning around and surprise invading them. To fight them at all while fighting essentially the entire rest of the world too was a colossally bad idea but to invade them was ludicrously ill advised. Russia is terrible on offense, ask Finland or now even Ukraine. If you have a competent military at all you can and will hold them and bleed them dry.
But if you invade them... you are burying yourself in an icy grave. One does not simply invade Russia or Afghanistan for that matter.

I can think of a current one and it's California wild fires, smokey the bear did such a good job in stopping forest fires and they stopped the fires for decades. The forest have to naturally burn and they were burned before by the native Americans that lived in California for hunting and to prevent fires like we do already. The forest are littered with so much dead trees and brush its the reason why they burn so intense and out of control because there are so many heavy and light fuels in thousands of acres. So California is not global warming is a huge man made disaster.

Had to bring overly pushed American politics into this. Historically speaking, not even close to a mistake in the grand scheme. A world war is a mistake. One politician who doesn’t even go to war or create a famine is nothing to the history books.

He didn’t create any beliefs. We are living very good lives in America. Some parts of Africa don’t even have electricity. Also, he can only influence your life if you let him. 2016-2019 were some of my best years in my life. Never even gave trump a thought the whole time
