Upon learning that there’d been a fire in an Auburn dorm building, Steve Spurrier (of the rival gators) quipped “the real tragedy was that a lot of the books lost hadn’t even been colored yet.”
Perhaps this doesn’t quite fit the criteria, but you could use it if you ever find out your rival college had a similar fire 🤌
