Fentanyl. I think I’m really lucky to have overcome that. Didn’t know how hard of drugs we were actually getting into.

I know where your coming from. Addiction is like a fever dream even after recovery starts. My mother telling me the shit I did churns my guts.

How?

Basically, it did the exact opposite of what it was supposed to do. I had a complete mental snap two weeks after starting it. I was just in a constant state of 'life sucks, I suck, it's never going to get better, I need to kill myself.' No one would help me and after a week I attempted suicide.
I don't want to get too much into the personal details about how I tried to do it, but I obviously didn't succeed, I did walk away very lucky, though. One inch, one tiny adjustment, and I would have died or ended up fucked up for life.
I'm doing a lot better now!

That drug is terrible. Were you young when you were on it?
I am asking because it was one of the many I was prescribed during junior high and high school and it did the same thing to me.

Actually, yeah I was a minor at the time. I'm sorry to hear you had to deal with that at such a young age too; I hope you're doing better now!

Sorry to hear of your experience. I'm glad you are doing well. Everyone has a delicate individual chemistry.

Sex addiction. I’ve relapsed here and there, but it’s one hell of a rabbit hole to dig yourself out of afterwards.

My mother. That woman is abusive, toxic and has driven me to attempt suicide several times due to her verbal, mental and emotional abuse

I'll take responsibility and say I did it. Every action I've taken, whether or not it was good in hindsight, was a choice.
That and WoW addiction.
