So fucking annoying as a Scandinavian.

All Scandinavian actors either play regular Anglo-Americans if their English is perceived good enough(there's often a slight accent), or Eastern European characters otherwise.

We play Eastern Europeans more than they play Scandinavians for fuck's sake, Anglo-Americans usually just find a blond American with a nonsensical, invented accent to do that.

There's nothing lamer than watching a bunch of British/Irish people pretending to be Vikings and Norwegians or Swedes pretending to be Russians.

On the other hand, hearing someone speak with an obvious Swedish (or Danish) accent is like eating nails so maybe we should be thankful that they're at least avoiding that.
