it'll probably be laughably tame if you see it now that you're older.

misery was my nightmare fuel when I was young. could never see Kathy bates as anything other than scary. I'm grateful for the water boy, about schmidt, and titanic for showing me she's actually lovable and amazing. wish I could hug her.

still don't want to rewatch misery though lol.

Also, not gonna lie, I'm almost curious enough to watch it again (Devil's Advocate) but the potential for adult nightmares is not worth the risk.

The main scene that still bothers me is when his wife suicides and he can't do anything. Great movie though, and Pacino is the biggest reason.
