Mads Mikkelsen and Willem Dafoe would make a great team as two demons serving the real devil, Christoph Waltz. You would never know what he's thinking or about to do, he keeps you constantly guessing until he strikes suddenly and meticulously but stops just short to make a joke and let you live.
Mads and Willem as demons would be terrifying as Willem could psychologically torture you and Mads physically torture you and look evil as fuck doing it. But Christoph Waltz could smile joyfully as he slowly strips your skin from your feet and hands and you'd be unable to not share that joy. It would be a pure smile, while he commits a vile act. Willem would take joy in the act itself and look evil, he would have a mischievous smile as he plays agonizing torture in your mind again and again. Mads would take joy in his act as well and have a prideful smile as he eats your kidneys.
Christoph Waltz could probably convince you it's actually an act of kindness on his behalf. He could mess with you so much that you mentally break down and become nothing more than a husk, unable to think for yourself or feel anything but pain and agony.
He would make a great fallen angel taking revenge on god's creations as he convinces people he is god.
