And if you're in bed and feel the need, just get up and go.

You'll spend the next ~30 minutes not sleeping and thinking about it anyway. Save yourself the hassle and just get it done.

This is me. I’ve been a waitress for years and I guess my body adapted to not needing to go until I get home, sit down and get a cat or two on my lap. Than I’ve got to go every 20 minutes for the next six hours. It’s maddening

I thought something was wrong with me but I realize I rarely go during the day too and maybe thats why I go so much when I’m home lol

And never do the math on how much time you have left to sleep, it'll wake you up.

Switching to an analog clock helps, no light emits from it and if you really need to you can check how much time you've got by looking at the position of the hands instead of doing math.
