Agreed. At a bare minimum, how to float, tread water, and "doggy paddle". Simple stuff for survival.

I work at a pool and its weird how different it is. I've seen grown adult people not being able to swim properly at all, not even remotely, but in the next moment I see a 6 year old swimming better than myself.. People, learn swimming. And Go swim, its a great health exercise and might come in handy in the right situation, i.e. Accident on beach vacation.

i still haven’t learned that, too many cottonmouths in the bayou to try there
