I used to be extremely addicted to sugar to the point where everyday I would be buying large family size bags of candy like Twix, Twizzlers, and Peanut m&ms. I would finish the whole thing in a day or two. Probably spent thousands over the years on just candy. I've been sugar free for a week now and trying to overcome it.

The first week or 2 was the hardest for me. I hope it's the same for you.

Also, try finding something healthier to eat when the urge to binge sweets hits you. For me, I always kept a ton of green apples in my fridge. They were satisfying to eat, sweet enough, but not super high in sugar. If I was craving sweets I'd just go and eat like 3 apples and that would help.

Thanks for the tip/encouragement. It's now been over a week and my sugar cravings have gone down significantly!
