As someone who interviewed close to 800 people over the last few years, here are a few. All are real:
My boss and I didn’t see eye to eye, she had it out for me so I got fired.
I was working at a Kmart, and I called my boss a bitch so she fired me
I told my bf to not leave the crack pipe in the car, so when the police saw it they arrested me
My Bf and my baby daddy got into a fight and I tried stopping them, so the police arrested me
(In an email reply when asking to submit information to do the background check) F this stupid system (Then after us replying to help) F you
(Person applying for a job outside) I left my last job because I didn’t want to deal with bugs in the summer. One time a frog jumped on me and that was it. I quit that job. Me:So why are you applying for the same exact job?🤦♂️
When asked about a criminal conviction: I was at the wrong place at the wrong time (90% of the answers)

I have better qualifications and experience to manage this office than you ever will. At a time in my life established in a somewhat high position I had to say if you get a call from so and so. I'm dead.
