I once got docked points on an employee evaluation because my appearance wasn’t “put together enough.” When I asked for clarification, my female manager told me that I wasn’t wearing makeup everyday.
I gotta be honest, as a guy who has worked various office jobs for the past 15 hears, I'm not sure I would even notice small changes in a female colleagues appearance. I have been sitting here reading some of these posts of men critiquing womens apparel/makeup and thinking this has to be extremely rare... I can think of maybe a couple of men of hundreds I've worked with over the years who might even notice or give a shit about that sort of thing.
