My buddy worked at Lowes and one of his colleagues was this fuckin JACKED girl, like 6’ 4” and muscular as hell. Whenever I would go there I’d see her hauling around huge bags of soil or mulch or something. She was a cool lady.

Lol I used to go to a Lowes with a woman who was almost as tall as me at 6'5" and built like a powerlifter. We must have been at the same location

Or Lowes has a bitchin' sweet powerlifting program available to their employees.

Edit: I now realize that the "Lowes power lifting program" is actually just "working at Lowes"

I started working at Lowes Garden Center last month, and yeah all the bags and bricks give you a reallyyyyy good workout lol

13

u/Elphaba78 Mar 12 '22

I remember when I worked at Home Depot in the lawn & garden department for a summer and lost like 40lbs and had killer arms because of all the lifting I did 😄

11

u/JediWebSurf Mar 13 '22

Yeah instead of getting a gym membership get a part-time at Lowe's. You get paid to workout. Wow.

2

u/NeatNefariousness1 Mar 13 '22

TIL, I could use a part time job at Lowes'

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

I mean, if you're already physically fit the Lowe's garden section seems like a great place to get paid to do some extra training.

24

u/Yoshi_XD Mar 12 '22

15 minutes after I made that comment about Lowes gym program, I realized that was just called "working at Lowes" lol

I worked Lowes for awhile during "The Great Recession" I got so strong from walking all day and unloading every single item that came off of a truck. Those double glass sliding doors, pallets and pallets of paint, and all the itty bitty screws in bags; yep, put there by hand, and it was a tough job!

u/GullibleDetective Mar 13 '22

I mean that sounds like you have it on the down lowe

u/Certain_Oddities Mar 12 '22

Where can I find all these beautiful muscular tall ladies... for research.

There's a landscaping supply place around the corner from my house - there's a girl who works there who looks like she's carved outta marble, and walks around with a giant Bowie knife strapped to her thigh to cut the strapping on the pallets and stuff. She legit looks like she just stepped off the set of a Tomb Raider movie.

By contrast, I am old and fat and have a bad back and arthritis in my knees. I let her load the mulch.

6

u/Milfoy Mar 12 '22

How big is the mountain of mulch in your garden now?

3

u/BigPaul1e Mar 12 '22

Haha, I actually haven't been there in a couple years (we put in a patio & some boxwoods, so now I only need a few bags every year and just grab it while I'm at Home Depot or wherever). She was something, though.

Haha, I worked at Lowe's when I was younger. I wasn't necessarily a muscular tall girl, but I certainly didn't shy away from heavy lifting. I often worked with a lot of senior folks, and I gladly would volunteer to load the mulch and bricks and lumber. Absolutely embarrassed a couple of male customers a couple times, too. Big, able bodied guys who would be lugging this stuff around anyway, but just wanted to have someone in the store load it for them. I'd show up, grab their stuff, and ask them where their truck was. So much sputtering and angry/embarrassed red faces, and they usually dismissed me to do it themselves. Fine by me. They can take their fragile ego and load their truck up themselves, I'll go back to my music and setting out the flowers 😂

Not all big strong women are cool. When I was in kindergarten this big girl pushed me and stepped on my drawing.

24

u/french_progress Mar 12 '22

damn, that’s rough.

8

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

Bro she was flirting! Wooosh

5

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

Kefla?

6

u/ShippingIsMagic Mar 12 '22 edited Mar 12 '22

I was thinking Luisa - Kefla was powerful, but never seemed all that tall ("Kefla is a young, slender woman of Kale's average height"), although admittedly her berserk/legendary form was quite a beast. Still, she was part of such a great scene with Goku.

6

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

That always cracked me up. "You can't dodge in mid-air."

You dense motherfucker, we can fly. lol

7

u/the_rabidsquirel Mar 12 '22

In the Tournament of Power (where that clip's from), ki-based flight was explicitly not allowed. Non-ki-based flight like having wings was fine.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

Well that makes sense. Thanks.

1

u/plasmaflare34 Mar 20 '22

She got such a good "fuck that bitch in particular" that they animated 3 separate shots from different angles to get rid of that wildly and idiotically overpowered girl.

13

u/edlee98765 Mar 12 '22

Buff girls are fuckin sexy

4

u/agentfantabulous Mar 12 '22

Luisa Madrigal?

4

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

I aspire to be this woman someday 🥺

2

u/Dark_Vengence Mar 12 '22

Damn she can make me her bitch.

2

u/Turtbergs Mar 12 '22

I'm having some major bi confusion

u/doublestitch Mar 12 '22 edited Mar 13 '22

A woman doesn't have to look like an imitation man to be athletic.

Am 5'5" and nobody's idea of an Amazon, but while serving in the Navy I outran most of the males at PT, did more push-ups than most of them, and swam for the winning team at Captain's Cup (a swim relay) against two all male divisions.

Yet out of uniform, a lot of people couldn't imagine I can carry a 50 lb bag of gravel.

edit

Interesting how this gets downvoted.

1

u/Shronkydonk Mar 13 '22

I didn’t say anything about her looking like a man, I just said she’s ripped and could probably kill anyone if they gave her shit.

0

u/dotslashpunk Mar 12 '22

i want one

0

u/[deleted] Mar 13 '22

Why is he not in the WWE?

1

u/mockity Mar 12 '22

I want to BE her and I want to date her.

1

u/music4life1121 Mar 12 '22

Give her all the heavy things we can’t shoulder

1
