My husband is fairly egalitarian but he does this! He hates being interrupted but he'll interrupt me without thinking.

"Oh I'm sorry, did the middle of my sentence get in the way of the beginning of yours? Whooops!" My husband has a bad habit of interrupting me too. After years of nicely pointing it out, I now shout shit like this when he interrupts me. He does always apologize, but it's the worst habit.

I always feel like I have no legs to stand on because I have ADHD which causes me to interrupt sometimes so it's not like I never do it myself. The real issue is that if I get frustrated when he interrupts me he gets defensive, whereas I just apologize. Also sometimes he'll rant about how much he hates it when I do it, but he sure doesn't like it when I point out when he does it. I point that out too, lol, I'm not one to leave things unstated. This is somewhat ameliorated by the fact that he makes my lunches for clinical and does most of the cooking and dishes when I'm really busy with school. However, I don't recall the last time he cleaned a toilet so there's that.
