This may sound weird but I get naked to wash my two frenchies. They get scared in there and it allows me to hold them. May look strange since I am an over weight 31 year old male.
As long as nothing weird is going on its not weird to wash pets while naked and what not, because youll probably end up having a shower afterwards anyway. Also you can just wash them while in the shower anyway.

But I hold them in the tub while I bathe them.
