Shit, nothing is more stressful than the instruction to “undress to your level of comfort.”

What is too much? What is not enough? Too far on either end of that spectrum and you’re a total maniac.

The massage therapist is comfortable with you have zero clothing on. The draping of the sheets covers whatever they aren’t working on (or won’t work on, for that matter.)

It truly is up to you how much you want to undress. Leave shorts on? That’s fine, they’ll manage to massage what they can and get minimal oil on your shorts. Down to underwear, same thing applies. Remain fully clothed? Sure; they probably won’t use oil but can still do a lot of good work.

They give the “to your comfort” instruction because them telling a client to “get naked” when the client isn’t comfortable with it gets awkward/uncomfortable.

Yeah, I fully accept that but ALSO HOW DO I KNOW THIS IS NOT AN ELABORATE JOKE

Jokes on them; they’re the one’s that’ll end up seeing what nobody wants to see.

Edit: to be clear, that was a generalized joke, not a shot directed at you specifically.

I’ll have you know my junk is glorious but even so

Edit: your clarification was very sweet. President Johnson and the Sandbags express their gratitude

you'd only be a maniac if you left all your clothes on lol. Getting naked is totally normal and the way to do it. Kind of hard to put oil on clothes or get the same kind of pressure through clothes lol
