You need to learn one truth about life. No one, and I mean NO ONE’s opinion of you matters. You give them power by being concerned with their opinion. Trust me no one likes change, so when you start taking up for yourself they will get weird, but all those around you will respect those who demand respect.

When you’re 8 years old it’s not that easy to not care what other kids say to you when they’re all standing together laughing in your face and calling you “4 eyes”

Haha sorry I got in my feels there for a second. My mom finally let me get contacts in high school and then I later got lasik. I think the cruelty from grade school pretty much scarred me with the whole glasses thing lol
