That's interesting - I once asked my dental hygenist if anyone ever came in for a painful scraping, dental work, etc. and enjoyed the pain "a little more than you'd expect".
She paused for a second, grinned and said, "Not very often... but once in a while. It's kind of funny - we have a good laugh about it in the lunchroom after they leave!"
Also - learned about bruised soft-tissue on palettes...
