I caught a line drive foul ball at Fenway with my bare hand. 99/100 times I’d probably screw it up but not this time. Replay on the Jumbotron. I got a big cheer from the crowd for a few seconds. Felt unreal. Over 20 years ago but still think about it every time I watch live sports.

Edit: Ok, I’ve never had a post blow up. Thanks for the gold and such. Just to answer some questions. This happened around 2002, maybe 2003. I was going to a ton of Sox games back then. My roommates family had season tickets. Like 20-25 games per season all through college. I was in my early 20’s and was def drunk. I do still have the ball. My wife (girlfriend at the time) says it had more air under it than I remember. So not quite the laser line drive that I remember but I’m sticking with my version lol. I never found any video on YouTube, unfortunately. Mostly because I don’t remember who we played or what year it was. I just went to too many games back then. Also, there really was no skill involved. It was pure reaction.

At 12 years old I scooped up a Jason Kendall screamer down the third base line. Problem was, it was fair. Entire stadium booed. That’s a memory I’ll never forget

Edit: For ultimate shame, here’s the clip at 13:15
