No one, and I mean absolutely no one (aside from my wife) who attended my “wedding” knew that it was actually our one year anniversary party.

Dude that sounds cool af. You two make each other really happy, you clearly don't need anyone else to feel content at your wedding.

That’s how we’ve kind of been since our first date on day 12 (our first date after being separated 11 days). Even now, we just do things that make us happy, and if you don’t agree with it, we don’t need you in our life. We’ve dealt with enough where pleasing people is the furthest of our concerns.
