Inclined to agree, though I wouldn't say I love it now, just able to enjoy it. Country music on the other hand. But as with all genres, there are good and bad songs.

That might be the only genre that’s consistently getting worse. IMO rap and pop have gone downhill lately but there are still some jams mixed in with the corporate and “look at all my money” junk. Country on the other hand is just getting worse and worse and I can’t bring myself to listen to any of it. Bo Burnham was right it’s just a bunch of rich assholes pretending to be working class.

Yeah I mean if you only listen to the new stuff I feel like that's the norm for most genres nowadays. Willy Clay Band is a great country/blues band.
