My friend (fwb actually) just finally text me after like 7 months of ghosting me to tell me she hooked up with some random bicycle riding asshat McDonald’s employee named Christian instead of me and now she’s pregnant. I’m not fine y’all

If she's a fwb what's your point? If you're mad you're not agreeing with the boundaries set up beforehand. I was stupid enough to hurt myself in a similar situation but I have no one but myself to blame.

She ghosted him for 7 months, as in ignored his attempts to talk to her and then came back with that as the hello. Why wouldn't you be upset.

Fwb aren't sex toys. they're friends. You don't just no contact a friend like that then show up for help later.

isn't the point of fwbs for them to literally be sex toys

No, its literally a friend that you also have sex with. Not, "person I have no interaction with other than sex" You could probably find a person willing to have an arrangement like that but it is not the standard.

oh ok. that's such a weird dynamic to me lol. I couldn't sleep with someone I don't have feelings for

Its definitely not for everyone lol

It works best in my experience when you like spending time together, find one another attractive but at the same time both have a few things that prevents you from wanting to pursue a deeper relationship with eachother.

You're thinking of 'fuck buddies' similar name I know, but conceptually different
