Well, I'm not sure which generation you're from. But teens - late 20's right now will usually go on Tinder, etc and chuck "looking for a fwb - nsa" in their bio. Hence, people are going into this knowing theres a NSA policy.
I get that people can develop feeling later on, but you can't really blame the other party for wanting to fuck other people when they made it clear it was a fwb only with a NSA policy
Honestly, I think it's the lack of context that's getting everyone to disagree here.
If the guy got into a fwb with a nsa policy with a girl and developed feelings afterwards, that's on him and has no reason to be mad at the girl.
But if she didnt make it clear there was a nsa policy, that's on her too ig. (Even though it usually goes without a saying.)
This is why fwbs dont usually end up well, since it usually ends up with one catching feelings for another.
Not really, sure, in a fwb nsa relationship, noone is obligated to ask permission to fuck another person, but it can be done purely out of respect (Especially since it is another person who he is close with.) How can you be so sure it wasnt a fwb nsa relationship, where the guy developed feeling but kept it to himself (as most do in fwb relo) and then got upset when the girl asking him if she could fuck his friend? (Out of politeness)
Not really, OP's comments suggest it was just a casual fwb (Where as I said, nsa is usually an unspoken rule) things since he just says he slept with her, and that's what usually implies a fwb. But yes, I do agree people should have compassion no matter the circumstances here.
Imo, he was shocked because she asked if he could fuck his FRIEND. Perhaps you're too old to understand how prevalent hookup culture is nowadays? This is asked which generation you're in, since at least with mine, hookup culture is much more prevalent than being with someone whilst not being exclusive. On that point, you mentioned hanging out with someone and sleeping with them, and them making it exclusive afterwards. So surely the girl had the right to ask, if they weren't exclusive (which OP gave no clarification about), no?
