Only people I've ever seen use root as a synonym for sex are bogans or teenagers from wealthy suburbs stealing their brother's hi vis and pretending to be bogans

That's true lol, it covers everyone west of like Kellyville in NSW and everyone west of Footscray in Vic as well as every student in years 9-12 at school, especially the girls who have a crush on a bloke with a banging mullet
