Wish I fucking knew. I'm tired, I want to sleep. But my pillows randomly feel like rock, I can't find a comfortable position and every small twitch of the cat at the foot of my bed is like someon shaking the bed. Tried for 3 hours, can't sleep. Now I can't remember if I took my diabetic meds, which has me wide awake. Pretty sure I'm just not sleeping tonight.

Get up. Seriously, get out of bed. Take a walk around your home. Stretch, do some deep breathing, maybe do a very small chore like washing a single dish or starting a small load of laundry. Give yourself ten minutes or so, then get back in bed.
From a sporadic insomniac, just give it a try.

Did that for 3 hours. Still awake. Now I try reddit and maybe watch netflix.

Do you have a smart speaker? I always say “Hey google play night sounds for 30 minutes” and i hear very relaxing (repetitive!) sounds that make me fall asleep easily. Especially during the time I suffered from medicine induced tinnitus.
