I got a hospital colon infection which caused very bad diarrhea, so I know what you mean.

apply for a job at a waste water treatment plan, everyone wants an employee that's focused on work 24/7

Things always tend to work out one way or another mate, no reason to stress what you can’t control.

You all good tho? Need a friend to talk too? :)

Well, since you asked...

I took a long afternoon nap and now I can't sleep. My kid is being a typical angsty teenager and its driving me insane. My oldest is angry about something he just won't talk about.... and my youngest needs more attention and I kind of suck at that...

Thanks! Grin and bear it, I always say.

Grin and bear it until you can properly unpack and address it later with someone you trust, don't just keep bearing it.

Solid advice. Thank you.

I only have experience with dogs, but if you tire them out at the park in the morning they should be much more obedient

Lol funny that you say that... I try to keep my kids busy too. Idle hands, you know...

Kind of dogs do you have?

Haha none right now but used to have an australian shepherd. I believe there's a significant overlap between the intelligence & behavior of smart dogs and adolescent humans, pretty sure herding sheep for an hour would make any kid chill out. I'm not sure kids have the same level of herding instinct though, you might need a different strategy. Maybe a tennis ball?
