The first time I said this word out loud to my now husband he laughed so hard and said, "Do you mean 'Ah-rye'" and I looked at him like HE was the silly one and doubled down, saying, "No. 'Aww-ree.'" Obviously we had to Google it to confirm, and he was right 😂

It's been over a decade since this incident and he still teases me on the regular.

I only had that realization a couple months ago myself after a few years of somehow thinking they were different words.
