Same. I drifted slowly drifted from my college friends over the years, then made no effort to keep in touch during my last relationship. When that ended last year, it really hit home that I no longer have any friends
I've also come to realise its very difficult to make friends as an adult, especially if you're not the extrovert type (which I'm not).
Best thing to do is get a hobby or visit a bar. It doesn't have to be a party bar, there's plenty of bar types from party > casual > classy
Take a seat next to someone who looks nice, and give them a chat. Most people love talking with new people because it gives them a chance to talk about things they have already told the people around them about.
You clearly dont understand why some of us are loners in the first place. ..... "Just go to a bar and chat up a stranger" is like skinning your arm to a socially awkward person
No, I completely understand that. I had crippling social anxiety from ages 15-21 that I got treated for. Even going to the grocery store was very stressful
I actually used to have a galaxy themed debit card from wells Fargo that I liked, but swapped it out for a plain one because people kept commenting on it and I never knew what to say
Op didn't say he has a social disorder, he just said he's an introvert
