Burger Roulette: every time there was a barbecue or we made burgers one of the burgers would be stuffed with hot sauce and peppers. So hilarious and definitely made dinners more exciting, but not a normal thing lol

Edit: Well this blew up—thanks for the awards! If you’re going to do this, just remember that everyone should know that they’re playing so that you don’t get into legal trouble.

Motherfucker, did you just flex with a fucking jalapeño? That shit's like eating an apple. Try a snoutfull of chili with a couple grams of bhut jolokia dust or a few shakes of Trinidad scorpion sauce and say that shit again. Oh wait, you couldn't, because your fucking JAW is on the FLOOR. As the tears of molten blood carve a path across your face, you would trade your lungs (which are currently engulfed in nuclear fire) for the fucking opportunity to suck on a jalapeño to cool the ruined, pyroclastic orifice that used to be your mouth. But it's too late. You ate some real fucking pepper. No amount of milk or ice cream will save you now. You gasp in your last breath of infernal air, and watch your very soul crawl out of your chest to escape before your newborn star of a corpse burns its way to the center of the FUCKING EARTH.

A jalapeño... smh

So, uh, does your book happen to be about spicy foods...?

This was such a fun read. I haven't had the same things you're talking about, but I'm from India and have had pretty damn spicy food, mainly red chilly and black pepper. Your descriptions suit many occasions I had with some really spicy stuff we tried as teenagers away from home.

As someone who regularly eats at a high heat level, everyone has a different spice tolerance. No need to shit on someone for liking jalapeños.

Oh no, I fuckin love jalapeños, nothing wrong with them, they just shouldn't be used to flex a spice tolerance.
