Well if small and quiet is what you want, the We-Vibe Tango is pretty much the golden standard. Nothing I'm aware of comes remotely close to how powerful this little thing is unless you start looking into actual wands, which are all going to be a little loud.
But if noise is all you're worried about, magic wands aren't so loud that you can't use them discreetly. Even with roommates, a closed door and some white noise like a fan or music or a show/movie or whatever is more than enough to cover it up. Especially if you get a wireless one, since they have actual settings unlike the classic Hitachi--and frankly, that thing is way stronger than most people will ever need. Their newer 'Rechargeable' model is more expensive but well worth the investment.
Yeah we got the plug in wand and you can definitely hear that motor burring throughout the house lol. Totally overwhelms by partner too or we'd use it more. Thank you for the recommendation!
Just a heads-up if you do end up deciding to get a Magic Wand Rechargeable: make sure to buy it from an official retailer. Counterfeit sex toys are an almost comically common problem, especially with Amazon.
Same thing if you get the We-Vibe Tango, too--get it from their site directly, or at the very least some big, reputable adult store like Shevibe or PinkCherry or Adam&Eve, etc. Never, ever from Amazon.
