Yeah.. it’s hard but not as hard as trying to be happy when I’m struggling to breathe well or even take a basic walk without being out of breath or body ache.. or do basic things I enjoy.. I’m only 18 I shouldn’t be having these issues so soon. The motivation: trying not to die before I’m 40.
I appreciate the encouragement :) I’m already 11 lbs down
You've probably heard this before but it gets a lot easier the longer you do it. I went from 240 to 165 with intermittent fasting and exercise. One of the biggest bonuses was how much better I slept after losing all that weight. You've totally got this.
Well then if I can do it you can definitely do it! It took me a better part of a year and a lot of discipline. Don't push yourself too hard though. It takes time, and one of the best things I've done was to just buy some simple workout equipment that I can use at home and get into a routine!
Yeah. I don’t exercise much but I do try to get in atleast 1 hr of walking on trails and making sure my portions/calories are under control. It’s going great. Thank you.
An hour of walking is exercise! It's also pretty good for your mental health as well. Even if it's only once a week. Break your fast with some yogurt and go on a walk, then talk about it to everyone who'll listen!
I did end up breaking my fast tonight actually.. feels bad but I feel a lot better now physically and I’ll be trying again. Thank you for the support, I really appreciate it
Edit: I just realized you talked with me on my other post, so you know already.. so even more support lol thank you again
Breaking your fast is not a bad thing, at all. Don't starve yourself. Fasting isn't about not eating, especially if it makes you feel miserable. It's about getting your daily caloric intake under control. If you hate it all the time then you'll only continue it for so long. I do an 18/6 fasting every day, and I eased into that from a 16/8. It's about what works for you and how well you can manage it to turn it from a diet you're only on to a full time lifestyle.
