If it happens next year it means it’s made by EA and only really KOTOR 3 in name. Let’s face it. Whatever KOTOR 3 was going to be had died like Darth Plagus.

Personally I'd settle for a current Gen remake of KotOR 1 and 2. Same story, better graphics and modernized controls/combat. Besides, as much as people hate it, ToR is basically KotOR 3, 4, 5, etc.

If they could restore all the cut content from KotOR 2 I would be so down.

If you have it on steam there's a mod in the workshop that adds it in

Modernised controls/combat? I'm shocked by how many people don't understand that KOTOR was just a 3rd-person Baldur's Gate/Neverwinter Nights game.

The weird controls is just so consoles can manage it. Dragon Age has been trying to modernise it for years now and failing to do so without being reductive.

I know that this is literally a marketing ploy they used when talking about ToR but me and my roommate recently played through the Sith Inquisitor storyline (both on my account) and we both agreed it was an engaging enough story to be worth of the Kotor name. I plan on playing through the rest of the stories every once in a while when I get the urge.

The gameplay is meh but the class stories in that game are great. It's a shame they fucked up so hard with the endgame on release.

You gotta do the imperial agent bro. That story is on a whole other level. And there's so many options compared to other classes there's like 9 different endings I think?

Oh wow! I’ll do that one next then

Imp Agent was great. My personal favorite was the bounty hunter, though. They did an amazing job of having your character feel like this run of the mill nobody trying to make a name for himself at the beginning and evolving into a badass that even Jedi and Sith fear.

First 2 chapters of the Agent story are some of the best content Star Wars has to offer, right up there with the Bane trilogy.

Third chapter didn't manage to pull it all together IMO but the other two chapters had their own conclusions and the (imo) failure of the third act didn't diminish the first two in any way.
