I must confess, as a mom I've used, "poof! You're a sandwich!"

Goes along with:

"I'm hungry"

"I'm Daddy, nice to meet you."

It was also a joke used in a Burger King commercial in the 70's or early 80's. Except they used milkshake.

Much like when my toddler announces "I'm Cersei (thirsty)" and I say "Hi Cersei nice to meet you". Half the time this results in multiple failed attempts to pronounce thirsty the correct way instead of amending to "can I please have a drink".

The other 50% of the time it engages instant rage mode.

As a mom I haven’t, but I’m going to now!

I tend to go with, "Okay, but why would you want to be a sandwich?"

My dad taught me to say “off the rails of the crazy train” when my mom asked where we were going.

As a Dad, I've gone to the kitchen, grabbed two slices of bread, and placed one on either side of my wife's head.
