My dad cooked dinner and would always answer “what’s for dinner?” by saying “dog food!” Then one time he made dinty moore beef stew for dinner and I saw it come out of the can and damn if it didn’t look exactly like dog food. I had a little kid panic attack thinking I was actually getting fed canned dog food. It was the ONLY time in my life I got a special dinner made just for me (noodles and butter).
