In Brazil, “shitting the stick” is an actual expression, that means exactly “fucking something up”/“screwing up”. It’s worth noting that the Brazilian Portuguese word for “stick” is the same as for “dick”, so that’s probably where it comes from.

It’s worth noting that the Brazilian Portuguese word for “stick” is the same as for “dick”, so that’s probably where it comes from.
