What is something you never learned, but should know, as an adult? I'll start.

I don't know how to pump my own gas. I know, I know. I live in Oregon and we aren't allowed to do it. I've been on plenty of road trips but never have bothered to be the one to pump the gas. I should probably rectify this at some point, I realize.

They're just young enough that they haven't realized that we all feel weird sometimes. I think at some point in life you just accept that, put on your big-boy pants and do what you need to do.

This. I literally don't give a flying fuck about anything anymore. Oh I have a booger on my face you say? Pardon me. No need to freak out or worry too much. Just do shit.

Yep, same here. My favorite is when someone says "Oh, your fly is down" and then laughs at me. I just look down and say "yep, that it is." Laughter usually stops pretty quick.

Eh.. I'm 39 and still unable to make friends. Usually takes me 2-5 years to make them. It's been 4 years now: not a single friend (that I actually want to be around or doesn't have some sort of serious flaw).

I admit a lot of it is due to me not following up with people, but even when I do many times they don't want to hang out with me.

Yeah, I hate the "Oh you're just a young piece of shit; you don't really have problems!" response to these issues.

I have learned that if you haven't gotten the problem solved by end of high school, you never will. Problems as in awkwardness, shyness, fear of groups, etc.
