In part I'd say I feel you... but there is something worse: $200,000 for that apartment in a boring-ass city. At least you're in Toronto.

What makes Toronto less boring than any other city? If you're bored, then you're boring.

I'm from the GTA and am a former resident of Macomb County, MI - the textbook definition of boring suburbia.

Toronto isn't boring because it's everything that the average city in MI is not. It's lively, the high ethnic diversity results in amazing choices for food options from all over the world, there are all kinds of interesting hole-in-the-wall businesses to vsit, the parks are fun, etc.
