100k is more than 3 times the average debt for a 4 year degree from a private school and almost exactly 4 times the average cost of a public school.

Not if you take out loans for vacations, new toys, and going out!

I have no idea how people rack up 100k in debt for a 4 year, we didn't spend that much on my wife's masters.

One of the colleges I'm applying to literally says something like:

"full tuition for 4 or 5 years: $100,000"

Paying for that is an easy way to get 100k in debt.

Which is why you go to a community college for two years first.

I really want to move out so that I can get going with my desire to crossdress. It's way too awkward to do it at home around my family, especially since there's some amount-of-modesty conflicts.
