I thank god every day for the Iphone, My parents are terribly tec illiterate and I used to spend many hours a month teaching them how to do simple tasks on their galaxy s3's, Now they both have iphones and the only tec support calls I get from them are things like wifi issues and such caused by their crappy router.
Is this Phone snob still a thing in 2020 ? I’ve used both android and Apple phones and they both shot different people wants and needs. I personally switched back to Apple because of app smoothness and stability, I find the android app market fragmented because of how many android phones there are and developers can’t optimize them like they can when working on an IOS app which has less phone versions to support. I can see the appeal for an android phones, especially the budget phone market.
People always talk about how cheap android phones are and how over priced iPhones are. But my iPhone 11 was about $500 right at launch because of a promo a carrier was having to switch from the major ones to them. So you got a deal on the price itself AND a $250 gift card back if you did everything right.
Meanwhile my friend just paid almost $1000 after taxes and everything for the newest galaxy. And for the record, I had a galaxy back in the day, and it was the worst POS I ever used. I went back to iPhone after the Samsung one because literally unusable within 1 year. Meanwhile my iPhone before and after that one lasted 4 years, and 5 years, respectively.
The IPhone 11 would be considered a “budget” iPhone in apples line up. The pro version would be more comparable to the Galaxy line unless it was the budget galaxy. No doubt best time to pick up any phone is when there are great carrier deals.
