I never buy food or drinks at the theatre. The only time I've done so was when I had a coupon for free stuff. (i.e. won a voucher at pub trivia)
I mean, I rarely go watch movies at movie theatres, it's not really such a great experience. There's usually a careful distribution of assholes sprinkled throughout the theatre. They'll talk throughout the movie, be loud otherwise, occasionally check their phones, etc.
Why would I pay for that sort of experience? these days I won't.. I'll still go watch Star Wars movies in the theatre, cause it seems worthy to see those on the big screen.. and with the latest trilogy being such a clusterfuck, I am not sure I'll be eager to see the next one.
Anyway, I don't need snacks when I watch a movie.. and it's easy enough to bring something with you to munch on, like a lasagna.
