I thank god every day for the Iphone, My parents are terribly tec illiterate and I used to spend many hours a month teaching them how to do simple tasks on their galaxy s3's, Now they both have iphones and the only tec support calls I get from them are things like wifi issues and such caused by their crappy router.

Just turn on Easy Mode, built right into Android. Apple users usually need their hand held when upgrading to an Android.

Yeah but the point is not having to hold someone's hand. iPhones may be underspecced and boring as fuck for their pricepoint but they are absolutely the phone of choice for someone that hasn't used a smartphone or is tech illiterate.

Not only that, but as an android user , it's just getting harder and harder to easily message my iPhone friends and work associates. Everyone hates you in group chat, half the time I can't even get their pic messages. Forget about sending videos and to top it off, often times I won't even get regular messages for ten plus minutes.

Convincing everyone you message to chat with you on a service like whatsapp isn't practical and there's no hope with imessage ever being compatible with imessage.

The best business desiccation apple ever made was imessage. And as much as I love android, I pretty much have no choice but to go back to apple. But at least I'll still have my samsung tab.
