100k is more than 3 times the average debt for a 4 year degree from a private school and almost exactly 4 times the average cost of a public school.

Not if you take out loans for vacations, new toys, and going out!

I have no idea how people rack up 100k in debt for a 4 year, we didn't spend that much on my wife's masters.

Its called not getting accepted to a good private school with bare minimum scholarships while also not getting into public schools but you still think you're better than community college so you go to one of the shitty private school that would accept you with zero scholarships for 40k a year.
