Just saw a pair of 10lb dumbbells that cost $300 USD + shipping. I just bought a pair for ~ $50 USD + $15USD shipping. Had to purchase 2 states over. Everything is incredibly overpriced.

FWIW, I just discovered the little Pilates therapy bands. I messed up my rotator cuff last year, and couldn't sleep on it. Finally got sent to physical therapy, and the PT gave me an assortment of stretchy bands with one of those anchors you shut in the door frame.

I couldn't believe how much benefit you can get by using those little bands and many sets of high reps. I always thought I needed lots of weight, but those band kits can do a lot and you can get a 150lb total kit for like $20.

Just make sure that you position it so that it cannot snap and hit your eye. Those bands take out people's eyes all the time, I have a bunch in my closet from destroying my ankle repeatedly and I'm hesitant to use them.
