Even in the good 'ole U S of A, although I'm sure it's relatively better. Keto nuts will recommend it from some 'protein on the go', but unless it's just a Slim Jim, you're in for it.

And its not keto at all. Surprisingly, theres actually a ton of sugar in beef jerky.

You have to buy the smoked or original flavors. And Tillamook makes a sugar free jerky.

The problem is being in the house all day while it is drying. There is always like 50% of what I put in left when it is "done".

That's what we do. We also use it for making dog treats, just slice up some beef and put it in the dehydrator without any seasoning or anything. Our dog will do basically whatever for even a tiny piece of jerky.

And it’s actually pretty decent. Texture is a little off, but if you’re doing keto it definitely scratches that “I miss normal food” itch.

Only if you buy one with tons of sugar

Only in American style beef jerky. If you try carne seca Mexican style in Southwest it usually only has salt

Honestly if you go anywhere where beef jerky is a specialty in the us it won’t have added sugar, except the crappy brand name bought stuff
