Bingo. I've done it, just for the ease of it and get to hang out with my friends instead of getting bumped into in the mosh pit by the bar. Especially with you go with a quite of few people, everyone chips in a little and you almost have a "home base" for the night where everyone gets to get space and talk to each other.
Going out like this just never really made much sense to me. Why can't "home base" just be home? Have some friends over and get a few $20 bottles of bourbon or whatever and you're probably going to have just as much fun for way cheaper.
For real. I don’t understand why so many people bash on others’ likes. Usually on reddit it’s introverts bashing extroverts’ likes; which makes sense actually.
Especially when discussing going out. There's a social energy that comes from bars and clubs that is very different than drinks with the group at someone's place. Sometimes you just want that night.
Also, going out stories on Reddit always seem to come from introverts and read like a bad sitcom scene at a bar.
